The SHEEFT project, transforming flat roofs into energy sources
Solar HEliup Energy for Flat roofTop, an ambitious project to accelerate the energy transition in buildings.
HELIUP has been selected by the Innovation Fund for its SHEEFT project
The SHEEFT (Solar HEliup Energy for Flat roofTop) project is one of 18 renewable energy projects selected by the European Commission through its Innovation Fund financing mechanism.
Support from the Innovation Fund will enable HELIUP to contribute to the large-scale deployment of clean energy production systems throughout Europe, thanks to its innovative Stykon® photovoltaic panel, which is lightweight, durable and designed for easy installation on the roofs of large existing buildings (commercial, industrial, logistics and public).
The SHEEFT project will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by more than 360,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent over the first ten years of operation, and will create 100 direct jobs and 150 indirect jobs.
