Solarisation of large roofs is one way of meeting this challenge and developing the production of low-carbon energy on a local scale, as well as self-consumption.

If we are to address this significant but currently underserved potential, we need to develop innovative photovoltaic solutions that are adapted to the technical constraints of buildings (weight limitations) and to insurance requirements.
